The name/numbers
Our outrunners are named by motor size rounded up
to the nearest millimeter. So a 2822 is 28mm in diameter and 22mm in
length (plus the shaft). When doing a direct comparison by the
numbers alone make sure you motor is named by size, or have the size
handy for comparison. For example the 2822 series is a great
replacement for the some of the 2212 outrunners on the market.
We
have a great line of outrunner motors, covering small foam birds
through large scale gas conversions. The current motor
selection is from 80 watts up to 2500 Watts. Again our motors are
very competitively priced, designed to compete with the guys over
seas in price but perform like a motor in a higher price range, and of
course are guaranteed to be from defects. The data you see is from
our personal test stand and are real and accurate numbers.
2822-27
: 1360KV Outrunner 100 Watts Max
Run this motor on
the smaller birds. Great motor for the 7oz. to 12oz. planes.
Suggest 80 Watt set ups for best most efficient
performance. Try a 2 or 3 cell lipo with an 8 to 12 Amp ESC

2826-14 : 1250KV Outrunner 150
Watts Max
Motor is factory rated at 150 Watts but we run it at 180 watts
without issue to date. The motor should be used for general flight
on birds to 30 ounces and 3D flight on birds in the 12oz. to 17 oz.
range. Run a small 3-cell with an 18 Amp ESC. Comparable to 2212
outrunners when names by stator size.

2826-9 : 1820KV Outrunner 15

400XT : Direct Drive
950 KV
10 Amps
This is an excellent motor for
planes up to 16oz. A great park flyer motor operated best on 2-3
cell lipos, 8-18 amp speed controller. Great 3D performance on the
flat foamy type planes, great replacement for GWS type birds. Low
amp draw and great power leads to a very cost effective set up. It
will have you asking how can this 1.5oz. motor pull like that?
Motor only $28.00 - Combo with
an 18 Amp ESC $42.00 - And we pay Shipping!!!
Note we may discontinue this
motor. If you want to see it stay, please drop us a line

2835-10 : 830KV Outrunner 220 Watts Max
Motor is factory rated at 220 Watts. Other then some test stand runs
we have not flown this one yet. Data suggest 11 and 12 inch props on
3-cell, with 11x4.7SF or 11x7 E most likely the sweet spot. We would really
like to experiment with this on a small wing with a small prop
and a small 4-cell. Sounds crazy but would be interesting for sure.

~ 3.3oz (95g)
Motor is rate at 350 Watts
with a suggested max draw of 38 Amps with 48 Amps burst. Although the
