from making packs in-house. Over the last 18 months the factory
who makes our cells has upgraded the equipment in
whole. The result is they now have the ability to match
cells far, far, far better then we ever could. We still
graph cells from each batch to assure proper rating. And
we still fly random sample packs to assure all packs
remain a quality product. With the factory upgrade they
also have released a new quality cell. Check out the
size and weight of our packs, compare them to others on
the market and you will be very impressed. We have also
been able to keep almost the same price point. This
simply assures your are getting value for your dollar.
As with all of our
products, our packs do carry a warranty. If they
do not perform as stated please take advantage of this.

Why
do we test our cells/packs? Here is
a prime example of why. This cell was pitched as 15C
with a 20C burst. The graph reflects the manufactures
willingness to over state the cells capability. I find
this is common place in the market.
See it here. Granted it is a gross overstatement,
but it is not the worst I have seen. Visit any of the RC
forums on the web and you can find pages and pages of
inaccurate lipo ratings.
Please
balance charge your packs. It is well documented and
proven that balance charging adds life a pack and can
increase performance. We are such believers in balance
charging we brought on a few affordable balance chargers
here

at 1khz is 20mΩ. The graph clearly shows another
accurately rated pack. We have flown the heck out
of our test pack in the 3DH Extra SHP and the PA
Katana MD, not to mention about 10 + crashes as we
try to learn to fly the T-Rex. So far our test
pack is performing exceptionally well. I would
guess about 50 flights on it and after the last
use all cells showed exactly the same voltage
prior to charging. Not recommended but we have
even been charging it at a 2C rate.

Lithium Polymer
batteries were designed for mobile devices and
not for R/C use. Although some manufactures now
see the R/C market as a good viable market. In
general Lithium polymer technology was not
originally intended for high rate use as in R/C
applications. Therefore, the technology of
Lithium Polymer batteries in radio-controlled
models is to be considered experimental (not
just ours all of them). Our cells come from a
factory whom makes cells specifically for R/C
use. But please follow all guidelines and
precautions that are set for lithium polymer
batteries. The R/C hobby is fun, it can be a
daily escape, relaxing, and offer extreme
thrills. The last thing we want is someone to be
injured, or suffer property damage from their
hobby.
We suggest you
follow AMA safety precautions with any Lipo
battery. Since we cannot guarantee customers
will follow the proper safety precautions and
use an appropriate well functioning charger with
the correct settings, therefore, Mile High RC,
it's agents, distributors, employees,
associates, etc.. assume no responsibility for
