Optimised
operating software
When charging or discharging, this charger has an 'AUTO' function
that sets the feed current automatically. Especially for Lithium
batteries, it can prevent the overcharging that comes as a
consequence of user error.
High-power and high-performance circuit
It uses a circuit that has a maximum power output of 50W. As a
result it can charge or discharge uo ti 15 NiCd/NiMH cells and 6
Lithium cells with a baximum current of 6.0A. The cooling system is
sufficient as to maintain the temperature even at this output
power.
Individual voltage balancer for Lithium cells while charging and
discharging
This charger contains an individual cell voltage balancer and does
not requre any additional cell balancing when charging Lithium
batteries (Lilo/LiPO/LiFe). It also monitors the discharge on the
individual cells. If the voltage of any one cell discharges
abnormally the process will be stopped and an error message will be
displayed.
Accept
various types of Lithium battery
It can charge three types of Lithium batteries - Lilo, LiPo and
LiFe. You can select the type of battery before you begin charging.
Lithium
battery 'Fast' and 'Storage' mode
There are two special charge modes. "Fast" charge reduces the charge
time of Lithium batteries and "Storage" mode adjusts the final
voltage of the battery to be best suited for long term storage.

Auto-charge current limit:
When charging
NiCd or NiMH on 'AUTO' current mode, you can set the upper limit of
its charge current to avoid from excessive charging. This is very
useful when charging a low impedance and smaller capacity NiMH
battery
The charged
capacity is caLCulated by multiplying the charge current by time. If
the charging capacity exceeds the limit the charge will be
terminated automatically if you have set the maximum value.
The temperature
of the battery while charging will rise internally. If you set a
temperature limit the charge will be stopped when the limit has been
reached.
You are able to
restrict the maximum charge time.
To protect the
battery used as input from being damaged the voltage of it always
monitored. If it drops below the lower limit the charge will be
terminated.
The electric
cooling fan comes into action automatically only when the internal
temperature of the unit is above a cetrain level.
Data
store/load
For users
convenience a maximum of 5 different batteries profiles can be
stored. This allows you to set up the battery profiles to call up at
any time without a need to reproram it.
