Said to be
an outstanding motor for the birds to 16oz. Test stand
shows the sweet spot seems to be 2-cell or 3-cell with a
8x3.8 prop. Although the motor took 10 amps well I
suspect 100watts is the max output for this motor 80-90
Watts seems ideal . 3D and sport flyers to 10oz.
or pattern power to 16oz. If you need just a touch more
power look at the
300DF or the
400XT may be a good choice. At only an ounce this
motor will be significantly lighter then a brushed
system. If you need a bit more weight up front to help
with the CG check out the
400XT or
400T but be careful not to over power the smaller
birds. This is a type "A" motor so shaft can be reversed
via grub screw in the bell.
